Error occurred when updating Pega 7.1.6 to 7.3.1

When updating PEGA 7.1.6 to 7.3.1 we had an error at the database connectivity step.
Please could you assist?

Hi,
Please check two thing
1. The jar you are using. Mostly this error comes when jar is corrupted.
2. JDBC url which you are using. Check the format once
for oracle we mention something like this
"jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:orcl"
Check for postgre.
And still if you see the issue attach the log files.

Looks like you are using the wrong Jar file as per pega standards you need to choose based on your Postgres version which you are using.
For more information you can look into the Platform Support Guide to find the right version of the jar file to be used based on your postgres version.
