Openid connect using OAUTH 2 integration with Pega custom mobile application

​We are building a custom mobile app and have a requirement to use openid connect(OAUTH 2) for authentication instead of Pega login screen.
-Is there a OOTB support for openID connect(7.2, 7.3 ?) and if yes please share implementaion document.
Note: Our desktop application currently uses SAML(i.e Enterprise hosts SSO login page where the user enters their username, password and after successful SSO authentication get's re-directed to pega app).

I believe there is a plan for JWT ID token but it is tentative, you may expect it in future release.
