How to Connect To Pega DB from Toad For Oracle. Please provide me the steps for the same

Hi, 

1. First of all DB server has to be setup to allow connection from external system.

2. Collect the below data from your DBA.

a. User/Schema, b. Password, c. Database TNS, d. Host/Port/ServiceName/SID

3. Install toad and setup the connection string from Seesion >  New Connection with above details

4. Toad should be able to connect.

Hi SwarnenduM,

 Thanks for the Reply. Able to connect to External DB tables but I want to connect to Pega Tables. How can I configure that?

Hi Swarnendu,

Reg .Connect to Pega Scehama From TOAD.

My self Able to connect to external table by providing the Direct Configurration Details.

what about Pega Rules/Pega DATA schema config details.PFA and what details needs to enter to connect pega Schema. thanks
