Store work objects to an External database
Hi All,
in my Application all work objects are stored in the internal Pega database, But i want to store that work objects in to an External database i.e oracle, DB2. How can i Acheieve this. Can anyone elaborate with steps if possible with Screenshots?

Hi Sandhya,
As per the design, the work objects created in your application will be the instances of a particular work class(mapped to a particular work table) and gets stored in Pega database. (you can't avoid this)
If you want to store that work objects into an External database i.e oracle, DB2, you can use BIX application and create one extract rule for the WO class to extract all the WO's(instances) from work table to Data schema(external). We can also automate this extract process to run incremental extracts to get WO's to external DB as soon as they are updated in Pega DB.
