Billing Address Vs Shipping Address
Hi,
I am still new to Pega. I am working on an example where selecting a billing address same as shipping address checkbox should update the billing address on a page.
As part of this exercise - two stages are created, the first stage includes billing address fields and the second stage includes the billing address (read-only), billing address same as shipping address checkbox and the shipping address fields.
I created a data transform - when billing address same as shipping address checkbox (IsBillingAsShiiping) is true then Set Billing fields to Shipping fields.
When I ran this case, and select the checkbox - the billing address fields are not updated. Am I missing any step to include in this process? Appreciate any help on this.

Where are you checking that the fields did not get updated? In the section or in clipboard? Actually for both the cases, I believe you are calling the Data Transform on click ofthe check box. Right after that add another action to Refresh the section. Until and Unless you refresh the section values will not be submitted to clipboard and they will not come up in the UI.

The data transform has
1 'When' - is set to true for the checkbox
2. Set - target .billing.Address 1 to source .shipping.Address 1
Do I have to add another action after the '1' step(action)? Is there a built-in rule for the refresh?

You specify the refresh as an action on your checkmark that says "billing address is same as shipping address", rather than as an action in the data transform. /Eric

In section rule under action tab of checkbox, where you are calling the DT, add another action there to refresh section
