JSON response has field which is Single Page / Page list and unable to map it as different data type in Pega 7.1.9
Unable to use same field (A) in Pega 7.1.9 from JSON response as different data type. Created two different properties in Pega, X (single page) and Y (page list) and added pzExternalName as (A) in both of these properties. In response Data Transform, based on another indicator, I am trying to map the value from X (single page) or from Y (Page List). This works perfectly fine in Pega 7.2.1, I have tried and tested it. But doesnt work in Pega 7.1.9. Any help would be appreciated.

In 7.1.8 the pzExternalName property reference was not being used for embedded lists. I know that it is working in 7.2.2 and it seems to work for you in 7.2.1. I expect in 7.1.9 by your observations it was not working there either.

Are you seeing an error or is it just not using the pzExternalName value? Please provide some screenshots of how you have this working in 7.2.1.
