Is Robotics Automation feature enabled for V7.1.9?

Hi,

We are running our application using V7.1.9 and we don't have any plans to go for next upgrade for the next 2 yrs or so. To use the Robotics Automation feature in our V7.1.9, what needs to be done? Do we need to install any HF's or any work around to make our version compatible to RDA/RPA? Please let me know.

The minimum requirements for building a robotic automation are:

  • Pega 7.2.1 and Pega Support HFIX-28846
  • Pega Robotics Studio 8.0

What are the main components in V7.2.2 make RA feature compatible to use it directly from Pega? If any document or article  related to this, pls share it so that I will take a look at it.

In 7.2.1 with the hotfix and 7.2.2 you can notify automation to perform tasks through direct integration.  If you want to use robotic automation prior to these versions you would need to interrogate your Pega 7 app as any other application to provide automation.
