Need brief details about the issue. Idealy when this happens is when you use the pega:withEmbedded name="$this" tag . Here $this should refer Page type property only. In your case "$this" is referring a non page property.

Hi Ram,
As Vicky suggested this error comes when the current context is not of mode page, withEmbedded should be used inside a forEach tag.
