How to export the RD content to latest excel version in the machine.

How to export the RD content to latest excel version in the machine ?

Currently when I save the content in excel - it is saving in 97-2003 format, how to save it in latest version based on excel installed in local machine.

Hello,

This is to allow the backward compatibility, if the system has older versions of Excel.

Can you please let me know the reason why you want to save it in the latest version ?

The extension of the file has been hard-coded to xls, which is for 2007 prior Excel versions. If it's been changed to xlsx it will get saved in highest version automatically. However this will create problems concerning to backward compatibility.
