In addition to the details from @Gisela_R, the report definition SQL will generate UNION ALL by default. To generate UNION, you should select the option "Remove duplicate rows".

Hi,
I wanted to perform union on Assign-Worklist and Assign-WorkBasket class. So i created the report in Assign- class. but i am gettin the below error since it is a abstract class.
Error:

Hi SHiva,
You can try to create a View (that contains union of the 2 table results) in the database schema and then Map the Report Definition to the View class

Yes I did that approach but i am curious whether the Pega provides a way to handle this common scenario with the new option of option "Include all descendant classes" in 7.2.
With "View" approach, i had to create a new class, Data-admin-DB-Table mapping and hard code that class for pxObjClass in the view.
