How does rule resolution work for rules which do not have classes
Hi All,
Can some one explain how rule resolution picks up the correct one for the rules which donot have classes.
For example, for edit input rules there is no class, when withdrawn the edit input rule in ruleset A version XX-XX-97 then it is picking the below version of 97 . i.e it is functioning as AVAILABILITY "NO".
I want the rule to get picket from A lower ruleset in the ruleset list of application not lower ruleset version. Suggest me how can i acheive this.

Assuming the same Ruleset stack for Operator A as above, Rule Test:RulesetB:01-02-01 should be selected. I verified this behavior in v7.1.9.

In general, with no class attribute Rule resolution uses the Ruleset stack for the operator Id (via application rule) executing the rule to determine the most specific Rule to execute. For Example, Operator A has in his Ruleset Stack:
RulesetA:01-01-05
RulesetB: 01-02-05
The scenario is there are 3 versions of the Edit Validate Rule called Test:
Test: RulesetA:01-01-05: Availibility = No
Test: RulesetA:01-01-03: Availability = Yes
Test:RulesetB:01-02-01: Availability = Yes
In this scenario, the Rule Test:RulesetA:01-01-03:Availability = Yes will be executed by this operator.
