Using POP3 with TLS on E-mail Server instance
We are using PRPC 6.2 SP1 with mulitple e-mail listeners. On the coupled E-mail server instance the checkbox 'Use SSL' is checked, the TCP port is set to 995 (default POP3 SSL port).
The people maintaining the POP3 server now state they only want to support TLS 1.1 and 1.2 in favour of SSL v3 (due to security concerns). Is TLS supported on PRPC 6.2 SP1 and if so, how can I configure PRPC to use TLS 1.1/1.2 instead of SSL v3?
I've read https://pdn.pega.com/how-configure-application-server-support-ssltls-prpc but it only says it uses STARTTLS, not TLS 1.1/1.2.

When you Uncheck Use SSL? option - it is used for plain (unsecured) connections or connections secured with STARTTLS.
PRPC will always use STARTTLS / TLS when advertised by the email provider. If you need to disable STARTTLS in a development or test environment, specify this Dynamic System Setting:

I'll investigate your answer, however are you sure PRPC will use TLS when SSL is disabled? STARTTLS and TLS are different things if I remember correctly: STARTTLS is use for (old) plaintext protocols like SMTP and POP3, but TLS is more like a secured tunnel.
