Packaging the application without users
Hi,
I am using the application package wizard to migrate my application to another environemnt (from dev to test). However, there are many users that are dummy and actually no changes to existing users.
To not include the users, I need to go through 300 pages of users (approximately 2500 users) and click uncheck all.
Is there a way to unselect all the users from the application package wizard ? Or is there a different way of packaging the application ?

Few alternatives that you can try :
1. Export Ruleset
2. Create your own Product rule and then export it.

Thank you for your quick answer Santanu.
I have tried the first option: Export Ruleset, and it works. However, my application is built on mutliple rulesets and I have to make multiple exports for the different rulesets. This method is quick though and it can be good for small fixes, but not in general for migrating the application.
For the second point, I need to check where I can find details to try it out and what exactly it does. Does this allow to package multiple rulesets.

- as a quick one time work around would it make sense to private edit RULE-HTML-SECTION PEGAACCEL-MANAGEMENT-EXPORTAPP PYUSERSGRID and filter the results as per need.

Very nice workaround. I liked it!
The thing is that on the grid, it displays the .pySelected property of the user that has a value of True by default. Meaning that if we add some filter we still have this property checked and I am afraid that when pressing the Next it would take these even if not visible on the grid.
I have tried one thing to have 1000 users per page which works nicely, and now I have only 3 pages. So this works too, and is a cool solution.

If by "not package users" you mean "don't export operator records, then yes, using a product rule is a good way to go. Try this:
1) Make a product rule and specify your rule-application. This is for your multiple-rulesets requirement.
2) UNCHECK the "include related data" checkmark. This is for your "don't include the users" requirement.
3) SAVE the product rule and try the "preview product" button to verify that what will be included on the zip/jar is what you want.

This is great! It is the best option for me to use in my case.
I have tried it specifying the different rulesets with their versions and the jar contains exactly what is needed without the data.
