Custom Timeout for workitem
Hi,
We want 20mins custom timeout locking for workitems. We made changes to Case Type pyDefault but it doesnt seem to be working. Please advise how this can be done

Can you try changing the value in the system name instance(Data-Admin-System)

I understand that you have 20 mins custom lock timeout on pyDefault.
1. Could you please elaborate on what seems to be not working?
2. Have you left the case open for more than 20 mins, say 22 mins and later that have you faced any issue working on same case with another user or new session?

Yes if we open a work item and leave that tab and start working on other things then even after 20mins pass other users still get that message saying "work item is locked' . please provide some help with this

Hi Harneet,
when ever you open a work item, an entry gets added to pr_sys_locks table.
1. Have you verified if pxCreateDateTime and pxExpireDateTime column values have 20 minutes interval for particular work item?
If yes and when the other user opens the same work item after pxExpireDateTime and still gets work item is locked and no other option to "Review and End other user's sessions lock", then we may have to investigate this issue on a SR.

Hi Shankar Dinesh Bhaniga changing the lockout time in System seems to be working fine
