Executing Connect SQL specific to a database
I have to some SQL write queries specific to databases Oracle and DB2, Postgres.
In an activity when i use RDB- method and call the connect sql rule..
Do we have to write three lines with when conditions to check what database PRPC is currently running on or is there any way that Connect SQL directly picks us the rule written specific to database.
Any thoughts?

When creating the Rule-Connect-SQL, you can set the DB type (package) as mentioned here - https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v72/procomhelpmain.htm
The same value can be mentioned when in the Access parameter for RDB- method - https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v72/procomhelpmain.htm
You can get the DB Type for a given class using this Rule-Utility-Function

Actually i was trying to check if using an RDB-Delete with the Connect-SQL picks up the connect rule based on the database it is currently running on...
But by looking at the description in the mesh post i understand that we need explicitly tell the RDB-Delete to execute a specific Connect rule after we understand what database it is..
So it burns down to we first checking what db prpc is currently on and then instructing the RDB to execute the connect rule.. There is no automated way, right?
