why SYBASE is not supported to host a PegaRULES database

Hi,

In the 7.2.1 help topic of DataBase rule, it has been mentioned that SYBASE can't act as a host to PegaRULES database. I couldn't find, what could be the reason for this.

Is there any specific properties or configuration that we can't do with SYBASE DB?? Can somebody help me to understand why we can't use SYBASE as PegaRULES database.

Each Database platform support requires specific configurations that the Pega platform engine must be able to understand and work with correctly. The Pega platform does not currently support SYBASE, because there is currently no code to handle the DB specific nuances of SYBASE. I suggest you refer to the platform support guide - https://collaborate.pega.com/discussion/prpc-5x-6x-platform-support-guide-easy-find which lists the databases that the Pega platform supports to host the PegaRULES database.
