Replacing Data grid to Repeat grid with data source as Value List
Hi,
We have one section in pega6 using DataGrid and the data source for that is ValueList. After upgrading the application to Pega 7.1.8, DataGrid has become deprecated control. when we are trying to replace DataGrid with Repeat Grid we are unable to refer the same data source as Repeat Grid doesn't support Value List. Pls suggest how we can replace DataGrid.

As you mentioned, you can replace the Data Grid with either a Repeat Grid or a Repeating Dynamic Layout. Please look at the following sources of information:

we can replace Data Grid with Reteat grid or Repeating Dynamic Layout but the problem is data source for them is only PageList or Page Group. We have Value List as data source. is there a way to use Value list as data source?

There is no way to directly use Value List as the data source for a Repeat Grid or Repeating Dynamic Layout. Even if you use the Value List as data source in the way mentioned by Phani, your data source will still be the page list.
