I logged into your SAE I course and am able to locate the "Open Exercise System" link. However, when I clicked on it, it suggests that your exercises system was reset and you will get a new system to work on your exercises. Note that the data on your exercise system will be reset to its original state after 15 consecutive days of inactivity.
Can you please try on your end to click on the "Open Exercise System" link and see if you can access your online exercise system.

I see the link now, but my application is gone. I don't understand why because yesterday I did some excercises.

I also cannot access the courses in module 'Start Building an Application'. The strange thing is that in top of the screen I see a progress of 71%.

The system looks at the course status update. If you had not recently completed a lesson, but simply accessed the "Open Exercise System" link directly from the browser, then it does not constitute a course status update.
The surest way to ensure a course status update is to click on the "Submit" button in any quiz page, irregardless of whether the answer is correct.

Okay, thanks for the info.
If it is possible I would like to suggest an improvement regarding the above. It would be great if you don't lose your progress when not clicking on a submit button.

Everything works fine. The only thing is that the configuration is gone. Is it possible to put a backup back from yesterday? Otherwise I have to do all the exercises of Essentials I again. Or is there another solution?

Good to hear the course is back. Unfortunately there is no "backup" so either you work through the exercises again or let me know where you last completed the exercise. I may be able to find a solution to import for you.
