Validate rule shows different validation expression dialog on click of Add when property type is chnaged.
Hi,
I have a simple requirement to enter atleast one row with some educational details which can be repeated in the UI in grid. I tried to create a validate rule but when I am giving property as pagelist(or page), and when I try add validation conditions it doesnt display same dialog where function can be selected. However for basic type properties the function can be selected. Please advise.

Thanks Henry for your reply. May I know the reason behind this distinction in design of Validate rule for basic Vs Page/PageList properties?

Hi R.,
After selecting the Page List Property you must also select a Single Value Property that is nested in the Page List. For example: "Employee.Dependents().DateOfBirth". You can only use the functions against Single Value Properties. If you reference only the Page List, for example: "Employee.Dependents()" then you will be limited to calling another Validate Rule that can in turn test the individual Single Value Properties in each of the Pages of the Page List.
