Upgrading a previously upgraded PRPC Application to Pega7
We are doing a Pega7 upgrade assessment for a V6 application.
We realized that this application has been upgrade earlier from V5 to V6 few years ago.
There are many unused rules / rule sets and few redundant modules that were carried over form V5.
While doing the rule count and the time estimation for a V7 upgrade what all things we have to Consider Exclude ?
Please share your views / points that we have to consider for a Pega7 upgrade assessment done for an existing application that had take one of the following upgrade paths earlier.
V4 >>> V5
V5 >>> V6
V4 >>> V6

I am not sure how you have derived application specific unused rules and rule sets. If understood right eventhouh the app is upgraded from 5x to 6.x it is till using 5.x features and not the 6.x features. As of now there is no OOTB feature avilble to identify all the rules which are not used or does not have refrences, this process has to be done manually.
