Tree/Tree Grid control - full expansion and node selection on first display

Is it possible to force the full expansion of the nodes in a Tree (or Tree Grid) on first display of it's enclosing Section rule? I can only find the Always Expand Root checkbox in the properties dialog, but I need it fully expanded.

 

Also, I would like to force a specified node to be selected on first display.

Hi MarcoRondelli,

  We are also faced simillar issue like you have posted with topics of << Tree/Tree Grid control - full expansion and node selection on first display >> . 

We want preselect a node in tree grid, Let Say we have two level of tree gird. 

Level-1

  Level-1.1

  Level-1.2

 Level-1.n

Level-2

 Level-2.1

 Level-2.2

Level-2.n

 

We want pre select (2.1 to 2.n based on some condition either of one should be selected). With  Level-2 (first level node) expanded and Level-1(first level node collapsed)

 

Could you kindly share us your any work around advice on this.
