tools.appendString() writing overlapping charcters to Stream

Hi,

I am using tools.appendString() to write validation error message to UI. This function is overlapping characters in the String (if String contains more than 1 word then first letter of 2nd word is overlapped on last letter of 1st word so on and so forth.).

This UI section was moved from Pega 5.5 to Pega 7.1 environment. This Section is working fine in Pega 5.5 but not in Pega 7.

Hi RashminiD,

I'm not sure the tools.appendString() could cause this problem. It sounds a little more like a CSS issue to me.

Could you please try adding "word-spacing: normal;" to the css for the element you are displaying you validation errors inside of.

Hi ,

I am validating a text input in which first two characters should be Alphabets and remain should be numbers. I am using 6.3v.

please let me know how to acheive this.
