Sort and Filter not working for property with Declare Expression
Hi,
I have requirement where I have to show the total age of a case in a report. This report will be displayed on start up tab (so no preactivity for calculating age or copying it into another property) and I am using report defination for report directly on repeating layout and enabled filter and sorting for all the columns in report defination. For calculating age I have written a Declare expression on Age property and referred it in RD and in the grid but the sorting and filtering functionality is not working here. Is there anyother way that I could make this workout?

Never tried this one previously, but it might not work since it is a calculated value and not a retrieved value. Did you try the approach of calling a preactivity by using a pxlocalaction gadget and then refering grid to use the page loaded by the preactivity. In this way, it might work.

IIf it is in Pega 7, can you try using Data Page (sourcing from an activity), to populate your grid. Try and let us know if that works

also please refer OOTB @baseclass.ExecuteActivity if helps to call an activity to calcuate values.
