Which of the following statements accurately describes the Quiesce process? (Choose One)
It is the mechanism used by PRPC to indicate load balancer to direct traffic to that server during in place upgrade
It is the mechanism to activate a requestor session on a different machine in case of failover
It is the mechanism used by PRPC when coordinating with the load balancer to not direct traffic to that server
It is the mechanism to passivate a requestor session in the shared storage

Answer is c
 
 
I think option c is the function of a load balancer. The quisce process is responsible of passivation of user data. and hence option d should be the correct answer.

Hello

I see this question could be written to make the options clearer.

Quiesce; Initiates the process of passivation but is not the mechanism to passivate a requestor. It works alongside the load balancer to remove requestors from a node.

I will request that the options are made clearer.
