PRPC data dictionary
Hello-
I'm an analyst new to Pega and I'm not getting much support from my corporate IT dept, to the extent that I can't even get an answer on whether we've got a data dictionary or model documentation in house. Is this sort of basic material available for download anywhere? We're on 6.2 SP2.

I'm also looking for metadata like column data types and field values & descriptions (ex: what does the value 'A' represent in the column [PC_HISTORY_WORK].[PYHISTORYTYPE]?) It's possible that info is there but I've not been able to locate it.

I understand your requirement for having a data dictionary, lot of companies insist on having a data dictionary in Excel or so. May be, that's best for other tools but not with Pega. Pega is so easy so that business users can login and see how data attributes are created and linked in Pega in Designer Studio. To be honest, Data dictionary is of no use if you are using Pega. Let your management know, it's just a waste of developers' time as they can't do anything of list of Pega properties. This is just my opinion.
By the way, why do you need metadata of columns? Are you re-engineering something?
