Pega Robotic Automation and Windows 10 version 2004
Windows 10 version 2004, released by Microsoft on May 27, 2020, conflicts with Pega Robotic Automation software. This issue can prevent you from automating 32–bit applications when running the 64–bit version of Windows 10. This issue does not occur in Windows 10 versions prior to 2004.
This problem was discovered by the Pega Robotic Automation engineering team and they are diligently researching the issue now. We plan to create a solution for version Pega Robotic Automation version 19.1 and I will contact you as soon as that solution is available. Until that time, these are the courses of action that we recommend:
- If you have not installed Windows 10 version 2004, do nothing. Refrain from installing this update until a release is available that specifically addresses this issue.
- If you have installed Windows 10 version 2004, uninstall the Windows 10 version 2004 update. Your functionality should return to the pre-Windows 10 version 2004 state. I will notify you when a new release becomes available that specifically addresses this issue.
