PEGA intergration with Tableau

Hi All,

 

            In our application we want to use Tableau as Reporting tool on top of oracle DB. How can we integrate PEGA with Tableau . Is it Compatible with PEGA integration..

Hi,

I am not familiar with Tableau, but according to their website they interface directly with all of our supported databases to include DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres.  Keep in mind that many Pega properties are stored in the Blob by default so you'll want to expose those properties that you want to report on.  Another option is to use our Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) tool to extract the data into a desired format that Tableau can then consume.  In short, yes it can integrate.
