Open workobjects in seperate tab

Hi

We would like to open workobjects in its seperate tab in the harness. Currently opening workobject overrides the current one. We are on v8.4.2 and the tab group option is no more available to use to achieve this. I see Pega themselves are using tab group to achieve this in dev portal in v8. We are not yet on Cosmos and not planning to move anytime soon. What other options Pega is providing in v8 to achieve this functionality. Anyone has implemented this in v8?
