Null pointer exception on launching local action

Hi,

I am launching a local action on click of a button from a section in Work class. My local action is in the data class. On click of button , I am getting a null pointer exception on click of button. I am using Pega v7.1.7. Can someone help on this issue.

Caused by:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.pegarules.generated.activity.ra_action_runflowactionactivity_58efc1b6f854c94714f657cadaebe7ff.step3_circum0(ra_action_runflowactionactivity_58efc1b6f854c94714f657cadaebe7ff.java:379)

Pls explain what you are using as a step page when calling your applied-to-a-Data-class local action.

Not having a real step page is one reason why a NPE would be thrown.

Null pointer exception can be caused by various reasons. You should see possible reason on tracer. Let me know if you need help analyzing the tracer.
