it must be an issue with skin rule. could you please run through the below queries ... and try to revalidate the rules to see changes...

select * from pr4_rule where pzInsKey like '%PZCSSINCLUDE_%';

select * from pr4_rule_file where pzInsKey like 'RULE-FILE-TEXT WEBWB PZHARNESS_%';

select * from pr4_rule_file where pzInsKey like 'RULE-FILE-TEXT WEBWB PZSKIN_%';

In my case, same issue was fixed after clearing temp directory and restarting the server.

It is definitely not because of skin as login page does not have skin related css. See your tomcat logs and see if the prweb war file is deployed correctly. Give a try to redeploy things. See the http traffic in the browser and see the failure reason for the images not being loaded.

As Ashok said, redeployed the .war files ( prweb, prsysmgmt, prhelp). But the result is the same.

Is the login screen customized or the Home Directory in the access group modified?

Does the PRPC Temp location specified have enough memory and also the required permissions to read\write?

Hi, We had similar issue with PRPC 7.1.7 on WebLogic 12c. Pega GCS has suggested to comment the following servlet mapping in PRWEB.WAR web.xml file 

    <servlet-mapping>

        <servlet-name>WebStandard</servlet-name>

        <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>

    </servlet-mapping>

and redeploying PRWEB.war in your app server will resolve this issue. regards Gobi
