Integration classes inherit from Data-

Hi,

I observed integration classes are inheriting from Data- , why ? What is the significance of Int- as it is not the parent class for Integration classes.

Hi can anyone provide me the impact when you are accessing the Int classes mapped to Data-. I know both are equvalent, but is there any disadvantage by going  with this option?
