How do I download my certificate after I've earned a new Pega certification?
Here is a common question that is asked of the certification team:
Scenario:
I have recently earned a new Pega certification. I have not yet received the logo or certificate for the same. Where can I get these?
Solution:
Certification information is available through your Transcript on Pega Academy > My Self Study.
The process for accessing this is:
- Register for a PDN account if you do not already have one (using your professional email address)
- Add the email address you registered with Pearson VUE to your PDN account. Learn how to add an alternate email address
- Login to PDN and under the Pega Academy menu select My Self Study
- Click on your User Name in the upper right corner of Pega Academy and select View Transcript
- Click the Download link for a soft copy of your certificate

Hi There,
Thanks for guiding to the steps. When I see my transcripts, I can only see the information about the Pega Academy course that I have completed. Clicking on the download links adjacent to those, downloads a course completion certificate which I don't think is a real certificate that says you are certified system architect.
Can you clarify on this please if I need to contact PDN team to see the actual certification downloadable links rather than the course completion ones.

Just to clarify: The print-out after you take your exam at a Pearson Vue test center is your score report; not your certificate.
After 7-10 days, exam results from Pearson Vue are passed to Pega and you will see a Certification entry in your transcript, where you can click on a link to download your Certificate. (This is different than a Course entry in your transcript, as courses have completion certificates also.)

Thanks for guiding on this. I will wait for few more days to get the certification entry in the transcript since I recently appeared for the exam.
I think I also need to wait for my previous certification links to appear since I left the previous company and the pdn account merger has just happened.

The certificate is the same as the one you received (printed out in the PearsonVue center) when you passed the exam.

You may wait untill 2 weeks after you did the exam.
In order to view the certification online, once you are logged in pdn.com go to "My Account" and scroll down and you will see the "transcript" link which will guide you to see your certifications. You will also be able to download your certifications.

To retrieve a soft copy of your certificate, log in to your Pega account and follow the steps below. We do not send hard or soft copies of your certificate.
Certifications will display within 1-3 business days after the date of the exam, unless there is an account issue that needs to be manually resolved. If there is an account issue, it may take an additional 3-7 days to display your certification in your transcript.

- Log into Pega Academy using your Pega account. If you do not have a Pega account, please register for an account.
- Click the My Courses link in the top menu to navigate to your Dashboard.
- Click the Actions button.
- Click the Download my online training certificates link.
- Your completed courses and certifications will display. Click the Download link next to the certification for a copy of your certificate.

If you had provided the correct PDN email account when registering for your exam with Pearson Vue, it should be reflected in PDN after about 48 hours. Otherwise, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
