Help required on Pega Exercise MP7_718_pvs

Hi,
I've downloaded the Pega exercise erise named "MP7_718_pvs_20151005" & unzipped it. I am following "Exercise System_Quick Start Guide.pdf". As per the doc prpc.vmx should be present in the folder, but its not there. Instead, I found vApp-ML8.vmx in the respective folder.

When I did ifconfig in the VM, instead of inet addr: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, I got inet6 addr: fe80::20c:29ff:feb2:7231/64.

After 3-4 minutes has elapsed, I opened Firefox in my computer and entered: http://prpc:8080/prweb/PRServlet

 

Neither I was not able to access the Designer Studio using the above URL, nor I am able to get the IP address of the VM. Please let me know, if I am missing something OR is there any link to help me in this.

Hi,

Can you try: the command "ip addr" instead of "ifconfig"?

Can you try the port: 9080 instead of 8080 in the URL?
