Getting Exception during VBD Connection configuration
I am getting this excetion in VBD configuration page where i mentioned host=prpc and port=8080 and then click on the save and ping it is giving me this exception in the PEGA 7.1.7 PVS given in the PEGA ACADEMY
** org.springframework.remoting.RemoteAccessException: Could not access HTTP invoker remote service at [http://prpc:8080/vbd/service/vbdService]; nested exception is java.io.IOException: Did not receive successful HTTP response: status code = 404, status message = [Not Found]: Could not access HTTP invoker remote service at [http://prpc:8080/vbd/service/vbdService]; nested exception is java.io.IOException: Did not receive successful HTTP response: status code = 404, status message = [Not Found]
any kind of help will be appreciated...

Hi eddie Thanks for your reply.
But i am getting the same error using the IP address VM in place of prpc.
Login in to VM with architect/password
then put the command ifconfig
then get the inet address is Proprietary information hidden.
then login into pega using http:// Proprietary information hidden:8080/prweb/PRServlet.
but in VBD configuration page i put
host: Proprietary information hidden
Port:8080
but still getiing the same error.

Can you please try to revert the image to the original one, and make sure you are on pega network or connected to VPN?

Hi Miki Thanks for your reply...
I find the solution it is happening in PVS for CLSA and CSSA course.when i download the PVS from pega decision management essential(7.1) section it is working fine.I can able to connect VBD server using prpc:8080.
