Getting the data stored in the data table to the dashboard

What is the easiest way of getting the data to a dashboard that you stored in a data table. in the dashboard a button is configured to open up a case where the data relavant to that record(which is filtered out from a report definition) should be opended up in the new case

Can you consider using a Data Page to retrieve the information from the Data Table through a Report Definition?

I didn't understand the use-case properly. But you can pretty much use Data-Page or even Report Definition directly to fetch data from table and show. Are you showing a list or chart?
