Display Range Date Time Controller

Hello, 

I am using Pega 7.2 and I have the following problem:

We have in a section a Date time controller, with display range set to Previous 1 years and Next 1 years. 

If the Display mode is set to text input+calendar, then the datepicker is not limited to the +-1 year interval. But if we have as display mode Dropdown lists the interval limitation is working. 

Do you have a solution for this issue? Could this be a bug in Pega?
