Corrupted VM archive
I am having difficulty downloading the VM itself for the 'Pega Decision Mgmt Essentials'. Tried several times from chrome, firefix & IE. Everytime the download completes, the zip archive turns out to be invalid.
If someone could give some pointers it would be huge help. I have been trying for almost 4 days continuously, no luck !

Hi, I experienced the same issue after downloading the VM files for pega decision management essentials. Tried the download with edge and chrome on a windows machine, error concerning corrupt files. I just found a solution to the problem!
SOLUTION
Download and install 7zip (link provided on the same page as the link to the excercise system). Open 7zip, navigate to the excercise system archive and unpack it using 7 zip.
Worked fine for me, windows 10 64 bit.

Thanks Jessica. I got past the invalid archive error after I used the 7zip version from the link on the course page. However now I am getting the below error when I try opening it with VMware Player v5.0.1. On searching the extracted files and also the archive file I can see this file is missing, but I am not sure how it went missing. I am re-downloading the archive again. Will see what happens
File not found: prpc-cl5.vmdk
This file is required to power on this virtual machine. If this file was moved, specify the new location.

Since this is the Pega Decision Management Essentials forum, please make sure you use the Exercise System that comes with this course.
BTW, each exercise system comes with a Quick Start Guide.
