As I mentioned in a post yesterday, we are trying different ways to get members the responses they are looking for. While looking at posts that haven't received any replies, I noticed a few that were similarly themed. So I figured why not seek out SME help on the topics from the community itself.
First off, there are a couple of questions related to exporting to Excel that could use some attention:
The best option I know of is to filter your email notifications/stream based on specific Categories. This of course assumes that people are pretty good about categorizing their posts, which seems to be the case in this community!
This model can work pretty well when the community is active in helping each other refine the category selected for a post if the initial selection is off base, or if someone has selected far too many unrelated categories etc...
To illustrate this feature for those who may not be familiar with it, in the example below I am following this Support Community in my Essential Stream. I clicked on (change), and then chose to filter by the Reporting and User Interface categories.
