Cannot displaymywidget in personalized dashboard options
When I open the personalize dashboard gear, I cannot find the widget that I made. I am able to see my template, though. I have chosen an icon for it and picked the "dashboard widget" option from the Settings dropdown. I'm using IE11. Any idea what might be going wrong?

One note in the article may help you with your situation: "After you create the widget, log out of your application, and then log in again in order for the widget picker to be displayed at run time."

Is your widget checked-in?
When you log out, did you log out of the portal AND designer studio? The page involved is a requestor level page and won't be reloaded unless the requestor is fully logged out.
Take a look at the data page D_pyUserDashboardWidgetList, is it being loaded by the report definition pxUserDashboardGetWidgets (the default behavior)?
If not, how is the data page setup?
If so, when you run the report definiton pxUserDashboardGetWidgets do you see your widget?
