When you say "Call s-2 from a step of p-1" I'm not sure how you are accomplishing that. One way people do this though is in P-1's flow to (a) reach a utility shape and create S-1 without starting a flow on it yet (b) then go to a subflow shape, specify "on different object", and start a flow on S-1 (c) when the flow on S-1 completes, control will return to the flow in P-1 and you can start on subcase S-2 I think there's a PDN document somewhere describing that technique, if you think it is applicable I can search for it.

Actually i want the subcases to be executed conditionally.So in my application first subcase is executing and it is terminating there.Control is not getting back to the main case,so that the next subcase has to be executed if the control returns to the main case.

I tried the following configuration and it worked (ML8)

My Parent case flow looks like this:

Start->Assignment->Create Case(subcase A)->Wait(For A to reach status X)->Create Case (subcase B)->End.

Both subcases were created at the appropropriate time.

Similar to this process I have created 3 sub-cases but only difference is that if any of the sub-case if the use wants to cancel it should cancel all the other sub-cases and route the parent case to case creator, this was achieved by using ticket in the main or parent case.

In your requirement you can call sub-case 1 S-1 at the end of the case call ticket and place the ticket on any of the shape of the parent flow, which you want to continue for sub-case creation.If the user selects to create sub-case and completes the control will return back to parent case and the user once again can create another sub-case or else close the parent case.
