Attachment Cateogry Exercise -- can still delete attachment

I am going through the Case Attaachments part of the course and running into difficulty with the Exercise. The scenario and approach seems rather straight forward but I cannot get my attachment to not be deletable. I never get the expected 'insufficient privlaeges error'. This holds true even after downloading the solution jar.

 

I very well may be missing something obvious but haven't been able to spot anything yet.

This is a known issue and has been reported to the Pega Academy Team.  Seems to be a bug in the SSA image.  Will post more when more information becomes available.  You have configured everything properly.  The issue is not with your implementation it is with the image.

Still an issue?

I put in a work around:

Specialize the AttachmentListEmbed ( List View) at your level and remove the delete column all together. SO you ll be able to view and create and what not , but since no icon to delete , you wont be able to delete it.

 

IF you have anything better for a work around please let me know. I am going live in 3 weeks , and could you a better solution.

Indeed, regardless of the configuration made to the Attachment Category in the SSA PVS (7.1.6), one can still delete the uploaded "Bank Note" attachment afterwards. The recycle bin icon is never greyed out. Not even when I log on as User1@SAE. I don't like to hack the AttachmentListEmbed -- which requires Internet Explorer to open this List View rule anyway. Anything else that can be done to put privileges to the test?
