Support For RedHat Open JDK

Hello, we are installing Pega 8.3 and are looking at leveraging Red Hat build of Open JDK. Looking at the Support guide, i do see a reference of Open JDK but i want to get the experts opinion around Red Hat Open JDK. 

Can you please confirm if this JDK is compatible with Pega 8.3 and more importantly for any future assistance with the support tickets?

Pega normally does not test all flavors of openjdk (e.g. AdoptOpenJDK, etc). I believe we will work with clients to address whatever issues coming up as long as it is specified in the platform guide (e.g., openjdk 1.8 for 8.3). But if you plan to run RedHat OpenJDK in a production environment, you should engage with your Pega account manager to get an official endorsement.
