Obj-validate is causing field level errors on top of the screen and screen going blank
I am using a screen flow , in one of the flow action in validation tab I am calling a validate rule. Validation is working fine but the field level errors are being shown on top of the screen and screen is also getting blank.
Please help me understand why field level errors are showing on top of the screen. I am using "TabbedScreenFlow7" Harness. I am attaching screen shot of Display options tab as well as error on the screen.
I am on Pega 7.3.

Did some investigation and found issue is with the Pega OOTB HTML --
We customized "TabbedScreenFlow7" harness from ruleset UI-Kit-7: 06-01-01 harness. In the container 3 for container properties Pega uses a HTML for Custom Header Format: NestedTabbedNavigation7. We modified that to user another OOTB HTML - NestedTabbedNavigation.
This is what is causing the issue. If I use NestedTabbedNavigation7, all validations are working fine. We used NestedTabbedNavigation to achieve real nested tabbed layout rather that circular one.
Please let me know if there is any fix for this. (Attaching screen shot for reference).

Thanks for the detailed response. Yes I had ticked the "required" checkbox in validate rule but even removing that is not solving the problem, same behavior exists.
The validation rule is firing it is putting message on the clipboard. The main issue is why screen going blank, any clue?
I have already attached the screen shot of display option. The only differenc is I am using " As image with tooltip" for field level errors.

Has this issue got fixed for you? as I am facing the same thing when I am using validate rule.
Please let me know if you have created any SR to get this fixed, as this looks like a bug to me.

The required validation that is shown on top of screen can be form-level validation as configured in Obj-validate rule as shown below:
If required option is checked in your validate rule, then the form level validation "This field may not be blank" will be shown on top of screen.

Is this the same configuration at your end or am I missing anything here?
Share the screenshot of your validate rule condition that is configured in the flowaction.
