Custom Modules are not recognized during the build process

We are trying to upload the custom module for the android build in Pega 7.2.1. During the build process in the logs we observed that the custom modules are not getting recognized and they are getting ignored.

Below is the procedure we have followed to upload the assets to Pega Application.

1. Downloaded the assets.zip file from PDN.

2. extracted the Zip file and Included the android-module folder.

3. Uploaded the Zip file with custom module folder.

Below are the logs seen in the pega application. Please let me know if we are doing anything wrong while importing the custom module/does the build process expects the zip file contents to be organized in a specific folder format?

Hi,

I have attached a sample zip with only an Icon  and sample android module inside. Please test with that. I was able to upload it as an assets folder.  Note that custom module should correspond with version of mobile client used by Build Server. So if the build itself will fail you should check the Build Server logs (or request support to do so.)

I tried by importing this zip file into pega server and triggered a build. But build failed with errors. Will share the logs after requesting from Pega Team.

Hi, 

I suppose the problem that you are facing might be also caused by the fact that by default PEGA 7.2.1  is forcing build server to use Hybrid Client in version  Proprietary information hidden. 

You can override this by changing the .pyHCBuildVersion Declare Expression in your Designer Studio (by Private Editting it and saving. ) You can try using Proprietary information hidden.  More about this in : https://pdn.pega.com/building-custom-mobile-apps-based-selected-version-pega-mobile-client/building-custom-mobile-apps 

But first lets check the logs. With that we will know which version is used by build server and what issue are you facing.
