Unable to build custom android app
Hi,
I am trying to build custom mobile app for my application on my personal edition pega platform(7.3.1). I did everything as mentioned in the help and when I click the Build Now button on Build tab of Channels and interfaces menu I get error - Incorrect Build Server authentication credentials. I referred article SA-30981(https://pdn.pega.com/support-articles/mobile-app-build-fails-pega-721) as the problem looked similar and did the change as mentioned in this article but it did not work for me. Any help is much appreciated.

This error is most likely associated with incorrectly configured build auth profile. Can you check whether 'MobileBuildServerAuthentication' auth profile is configured correctly on your system? Or fill it again with credentials you might have received from your Mobilty point of contact.

Thank you for your reply. I was not aware of this thing. As I just checked the username is <user-name> which looks the default value in this auth profile. Can you please tell me how do I get these credentials. Like I said I am doing this on my personal edition.

Hi Onkar,
Do you have the Pega Mobile license? Please work with your Pega account rep to ensure you have the license and then you can go through support (or that contact) to get credentials for the build server.

Like I already mentioned I am doing this on my personal edition edition for learning purpose. Is there no way to try this out on personal edition with out licence?

You can use Pega Mobile Express app on App/Play store. More info here.
You cannot brand the app or have offline functionality in that app.

Hi,
Thank you for your response. I have mobile express app but I am unable to log into application with it. I can see my login page but when I give credentials it gives invalid credentials message even though they are correct. I can login to my application with same credentials inside browser on my mobile. Any idea why it would be?
