How to pass the certification for CPBA 7.2?
I have taken the BA Essentials and Platform Foundation on line courses several times. I also took the sample certififcation test. Yet I have failed the CPBA test twice.
Is there an instructor led class I should be taking, or ? Anyone have suggestions/guidance?

Hi All,
I just passed the Pega 7.2 CPBA, and wanted to offer some advice as I remember coming across this thread and was hoping someone would provide some more guidance.
This is what I did and I passed after studying for 3 weeks. Mostly on weekends since I was very tired after work, but still tried to go through 1-2 lessons from the self-study course.
Some context: I've been in IT for ~6 years as a BA and PM, and am also a certified scrum master so I had some background - but I also know that's not necessary to pass - all you need to know is in the course and video materials in the business architect essentials course.
My study gameplan that worked for me, hopefully works for you too:
1. Enroll in the free business architect essentials course on pega academy (I went through this very methodically reading and doing the exercises [I followed along with the directions, but also tried to understand what I was doing per the directions instead of just going through the motions]. It took me 2 weeks basically to go through it this way - but I think it was very important for me to slow things down and really try to digest.
2. I then did the practice exam (didn't do that great - but I was happy I was literally 1 question away from passing in my first shot - at this point) - this is helpful because I knew what areas I should definitely pay more attention to when I go through the business architect essentials class again.

3. I then went through the business architect essentials class for a second time, but this time didn't do the exercises and just read / watched the videos. The second time around really solidified things for me because I had forgotten some things from when I first started studying and just reading made me connect things I didn't before - it was extremely important to do that again.
4. Make sure to re-do the practice exam and the quizzes from the business architect course.
Exam wise - don't think anything is too simple to be excluded, make sure to know the basics like SMART, and different requirement types (questions from the practice exam are similar).
There is a Business Architect Essentials (7.2) Instructor-Led course available. Additionally, there may be a CPBA 7.2 Test Prep session available. You can see the course and test prep schedules at: PDN > click Academy from the top menu > click My Classroom.
Additionally, if you have not seen it already, there is a CPBA 7.2 exam blueprint that is available, which lists the topics on the exam. You can find the blueprint at: http://pearsonvue.com/pegasystems.
Lastly, you can refer to your exam score report, which will list the areas you may want to focus on for your next attempt.
