Issue

Update pipelines in Deployment Manager service fail to progress and stop processing. Pipeline diagnostics fail with an error related to the ‘KeepPegaCurrent’ application dependency. The following error message appears:

Symptoms

• The update pipeline does not move past the current Task.
• Diagnostics for the pipeline fail.
• The pipeline progression remains blocked and does not complete.

Root cause

The ‘KeepPegaCurrent’ application references a fixed, full, or patch version of Pega DevOps Foundation instead of the major version. This prevents the Deployment manager service from automatically resolving the latest compatible version, causing diagnostics to fail and block the clone step.

Solution

This issue is planned to be addressed in a future Pega Platform release. Issues are prioritized based on impact, severity, and capacity. This section will be updated with release details when the fix for this issue is available.
