This activity is being called from CorrUpdate and it looks like it is potentially looking for a default email account to send an email notification from? How should I go about resolving this error.

Can you please provide the configuration details about how are you sending the email notifications? via utility shape or send email shape or any activity? Please check whether you are able to connect to the Email rule. Do you see any correspondence attached to the case?
