Which function to use to validate - input year should not be greater than the current year
I have a requirement where the input year should not be greater than the current year ......This validation has to be given to the field...I am confused and couldnot understand which function to use in the validation

Hello ,
I was trying to achieve your requirement, there is FormatDateTime function using which we can achieve this.
@(Pega-RULES:DateTime).FormatDateTime(@(Pega-RULES:DateTime).CurrentDateTime(), "YYYY", "", "")
The above function will return the Year say 2018 and then similarly you can use to get the year of source datetime . Compare both.
In my case it is giving correct result.
Please try this once and let me know if that helps.

Can you try to use pega_rules_datetime.CompareDates(strDate1, strDate2);
"CompareDates" function will compare two DateTime strings and
return true if the first date argument is after the second.
You can have the second date as the last day of the current year.
