which edition of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 will give a better performance in 7.3
Hi,
We are in the progress of upgrading our Pega and DB server, we would like to know which edition of SQL 2016 will support and what is the difference.
If its support both standard and enterprise edition and which one gives a better performance?

Hello Anandh,
As per https://collaborate.pega.com/discussion/prpc-5x-6x-platform-support-guide-easy-find it is explicitly not mentioned about standard/enterprise edition. However support for SQL server 2016 has started only from PRPC 7.3.
However based on your application suggest you to pick the editions. Please have a check here : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sql-server/sql-server-2016-editions

we know SQL having a 2 edition and we looking for which one Pega recommends for the better performance and operations.

I don't think anybody here would be able to recommend one edition over another, just which relational database system versions are certified.
